MUMBAI: Digital sports platform FanCode is live streaming England ongoing women’s tour of the West Indies in India.
Starting Sunday, 4th December, the English women’s cricket team is touring the West Indies for a three-ODI and five-T20I cricket series.
After a six-year hiatus, the West Indies will once again host the English women’s team with all the matches being played at Sir Vivian Richard Stadium, Antigua and Kensington Oval, Barbados.
The series is being exclusively live streamed on the FanCode app (Android, iOS, TV) and www.fancode.com.
Winning the ODI series will be imperative for West Indies, as it will be their second opportunity this year to gain points in ICC Women’s Championship and book their berth for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2025. The T20 series on the other hand will be a perfect practice ground for both the teams as they are set to face each other during the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa in February 2023.
All eyes will be on the new captain Hayley Matthews, as she prepares to lead West Indies in the second home series of her career. Some of the top players playing in the series include West Indies’ Shakera Selman, Aaliyah Alleyne along with Afy Fletcher and England’s Heather Knight, Kate Cross, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, and others.
