The collaboration harnesses Visionular’s AI-powered video encoding technology to deliver sharper picture quality while reducing data consumption by up to 30–40% — crucial for India’s mobile-first sports audience.
With viewers across India facing diverse network conditions and data costs remaining a key concern, the partnership addresses a critical challenge. FanCode, which streams multiple sports requires high-fidelity video quality for fast-paced action while ensuring accessibility for users on limited data plans.
Visionular’s AI-driven encoding platform analyses each frame of sports content in real time, applying intelligent compression that preserves crucial visual details. As a result, audiences who previously streamed in 720p can now experience 1080p quality on the same bandwidth. With a 30–40% reduction in bitrate, fans with restricted data plans can watch significantly longer, boosting engagement and unlocking greater advertising revenue potential for FanCode.
