GALLANT SPORTS, an infrastructure company, has announced the completion and handover of a four-court padel complex for Jindal Steel in Angul. Spanning nearly 10,000 sq. ft., the facility stands among the largest padel complexes ever built in India.
Awarded in May and completed in September, the project demonstrates Gallant’s commitment to delivering best-in-class, global-standard sporting facilities. The complex features fully panoramic courts, specifically designed for the recreational and fitness needs of Jindal employees, and is covered from the top to ensure all-weather playability throughout the year, per the media release.
Each court has been constructed to international specifications (10m x 20m), using galvanised steel framing (Grade Q235B) and 12mm tempered glass panels for enhanced visibility and long-term durability. The surface features high-performance artificial turf made from fibrillated polypropylene fibre, providing a safe, consistent playing experience. An advanced 200W, IP65-rated LED lighting system ensures good illumination for evening play.
Gallant Sports & Infra founder and CEO Nasir Ali said, “Delivering a project of this scale and quality for a prestigious client like Jindal is a moment of immense pride. This Padel complex is not only one of the largest in India but also a fully covered, premium facility designed to foster year-round sporting engagement. Padel is the fastest-growing racquet sport globally, and this complex positions Jindal’s township as a premier sports destination in the region. We are proud to pioneer such world-class infrastructure that brings communities together through sport, fitness, and friendly competition.”
