PARTHIV PATEL, former India wicketkeeper, has invested in SportzEngage Technology, a Bengaluru-based sports analytics platform powered by artificial intelligence.
Currently serving as the assistant coach of IPL franchise Gujarat Titans, Patel joins angel investor Kunal Sinha in backing the startup, marking his first foray into the world of investing.
Patel shared that what drew him to SportzEngage was the company’s vision to make advanced performance tools accessible to everyone, not just elite teams. He plans to work closely with the founders, offering insights to shape product development, enhance AI models, and strengthen the platform’s integration within the cricketing ecosystem.
“As a coach, I’ve seen firsthand how data and technology can elevate performance, from sharper training sessions to smarter match preparation. Al led analysis will significantly boost the way players train, how teams prepare, and how talent is discovered. I’m excited to work closely with the team as they build this.” said Patel in a release.
