DREAM DASH, a multi-city sprinting competition for schoolchildren conceptualised by KPMG in India and presented by DreamSetGo, has brought grassroots sprinting into the national spotlight with Gallant Sports onboarded as sports infrastructure partner.
The initiative reached its pinnacle at the grand finale of Dream Dash on Saturday, which was graced by Olympic legend Usain Bolt as guest of honour.
As part of its role, Gallant Sports designed and built the running tracks and competition surfaces across all Dream Dash venues, ensuring facilities adhered to international standards. The collaboration underscores the vital importance of quality infrastructure in nurturing young talent and providing them with the right environment to train and compete.
The competition brought together children from Grades 3 to 9, who contested 100m and 200m sprints. Beginning with school-level heats and progressing to inter-school city finals, the fastest sprinters from across India earned their place at the grand finale in Mumbai and Delhi.
Gallant Sports & Infra founder and CEO Nasir Ali said, “Sports dreams are born on the right grounds. At Gallant, we’ve always focused on creating accessible and inclusive facilities that encourage participation and build confidence. Our association with Dream Dash gives us the opportunity to support young sprinters with the infrastructure they need to pursue their ambitions.”
