Goa Goals’ – Sukhvinder Singh’s ode to Goa’s football landscape

PANAJI: Indian Football expert Sukhvinder Singh has compiled a collection of selected articles written over a number of years in the “Herald” into a book – “Goa Goals”.

From being the “outsider” in a state that has declared Football as it’s state sport, to becoming one of its own through years of developing and promoting football in the state since his stint as CEO of Indian Super League club FC Goa, Sukhvinder has captured myriad hues of the Goan and Indian football landscape in his own inimitable style, drawing references and narratives from his vast experience as a well-known and respected Football Professional in the country.

The articles are a travel van through the inherent Goan love for the sport, promising an exciting future that is taking shape as the state and other significant stakeholders pursue greater national fame in football through steady and planned development processes.
