BHUBANESWAR: With less than two weeks to go for the start of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2020, a tournament that will see the Indian men’s hockey team take part for the first-time, Hockey India on Monday announced the opening of the ticket outlets for the sale of tickets for India’s home matches of the competition.
The tickets for India’s matches against the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand will be available for purchase at the Box Office located at Gate 9 of the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar and at various outlets throughout the host city of Bhubaneswar. Fans who have already purchased Online Vouchers for the FIH Hockey Pro League 2020 will also be able to redeem them at the redemption counter situated at the Kalinga Stadium.
The FIH Hockey Pro League 2020 is the second edition of the competition, and will be the first time that the Indian men’s hockey team will be taking part in it, playing a total of eight home matches – two each against World No. 3 The Netherlands, reigning World & European Champions Belgium, World No. 1 Australia and World No. 9 New Zealand.
Tickets have been reasonably priced at Rs 200 for North and South Stands, Rs 300 for East Stand, and Rs 500 for West Stand for India’s home matches to be played between 18th January – 24th May.
It bears noting that Ticketgenie Solutions Pvt Ltd, the official ticket sales agency for the tournament, made tickets available online from 21st November 2019.
