MUMBAI: IMG-Reliance, the joint venture between IMG and Reliance in India, has announced that it will be managing all the commercial interests of Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Krunal Pandya as the duo have signed multi-year contracts, Economic Times reports.
These involve all their brand endorsements, business investments and other media and public related activities.
“We have signed long-term contracts with Jasprit and Krunal and we will take care of their brands going forward. We are already having preliminary talks with a few brands that have shown great interest,” Nikhil Bardia, head, of sponsorship sales at IMG Reliance, told ET.
The talent management wing of IMG-R, which kicked off operations in April 2016, boasts dashing batsman Rohit Sharma and Krunal’s brother and all-rounder Hardik Pandya on board since the last 2 years.
Not so co-incidentally, all the four players are a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League, owned by India WinSports, a 100% subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited.
