Indorama Ventures Open returns with ₹2.76cr prize pool

INDORAMA VENTURES and the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI) will jointly stage the second edition of the Indorama Ventures Open Golf Championship from 12 to 15 March at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad.

The tournament carries an enhanced prize purse of US$300,000 (Rs 2.76 crore) this year, making it the highest prize-money event ever staged by the DP World PGTI in Gujarat.

A total of 143 players will compete in the championship, which will be played in a stroke-play format over four rounds of 18 holes each. After the first two rounds, the top 60 players and ties will make the cut. The course is set at a par of 72.

Title sponsor Indorama Ventures is a global sustainable chemicals company with diversified international operations integrated across the PET and specialty chemicals value chain. The company operates manufacturing facilities in 32 countries across Asia-Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

The strong Indian contingent includes professionals such as Yuvraj Sandhu, the 2025 DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion, along with Veer Ahlawat, Om Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Shaurya Bhattacharya, Honey Baisoya and Angad Cheema. Local professionals from Ahmedabad, including Anshul Patel, Krish Patel and Aditya Raj Kumar Chauhan, will also be part of the field.

The tournament will also feature several international professionals, including Jhared Hack (USA), Matthias Schwab (Austria), Clément Sordet (France), Joshua Grenville-Wood (UAE), Maxence Giboudot (France), Christoph Bleier (Austria), Bastien Amat (France), Tiger Christensen (Germany), Vince van Veen (Netherlands), Pierre Pineau (France), Christofer Rahm (Sweden) and Per Langfors (Sweden).
