KRAFTON India takes over publishing for Real Cricket

KRAFTON INDIA has officially taken charge of publishing duties for Real Cricket, one of the country’s most successful and enduring cricket gaming franchises developed by Nautilus Mobile.

Real Cricket has long stood as a benchmark for cricket simulation in India, amassing millions of loyal players. With KRAFTON’s publishing leadership paired with Nautilus Mobile’s decade of expertise in cricket game development, the integration reflects a shared ambition to deliver a richer, more connected, and more rewarding cricket experience for players nationwide.

The move further advances KRAFTON’s broader efforts to strengthen India’s gaming ecosystem through investments in local studios, the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI), esports initiatives, and programs designed to nurture domestic talent.

This milestone builds on the long-standing partnership between the two companies, reinforced by KRAFTON’s majority acquisition of Nautilus Mobile in March for Rs 118 crore. Working closely with Nautilus, KRAFTON India aims to drive the next phase of growth for Real Cricket by enhancing live operations, deepening community engagement, and elevating the game’s overall experience.

Drawing on its global publishing expertise, KRAFTON also plans to refine core gameplay systems and expand the franchise’s reach among new audiences across India and select international markets.

The latest version of Real Cricket introduces two significant features from launch:
* The RC Pass – a 30-day progression system offering challenges and exclusive unlocks
* Real Rewards T20 Series – enables players to convert in-game success into real-world rewards through leaderboard competition

These additions are accompanied by a wide range of improvements, including official IPL team licences, updated animations, enhanced visuals, new Hindi commentary voices, and a more intuitive interface designed to recreate the energy of a live stadium.

KRAFTON India Incubator Program head Anuj Sahani said, “Real Cricket has become a cultural touchpoint for millions in India, and we see its next chapter as a milestone for the future of game development in the country. This integration reflects our belief that Indian studios can build global-quality franchises that stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world. Real Cricket represents the kind of ambitious, homegrown innovation we want to champion, and we are proud to support its journey toward even greater scale and global relevance. By bringing this successful homegrown IP under the KRAFTON publishing umbrella, we are doubling down on our Make-in-India vision and strengthening our long-term commitment to building a vibrant gaming ecosystem in the country.”

Nautilus Mobile director and CEO Anuj Mankar added, “For more than a decade, Real Cricket has been driven by one goal – to bring the excitement, nuance and drama of real-world cricket to players’ phones. With this release, we are building on that foundation with new progression systems, deeper competition and a sharper, more polished experience for our community. The continued support from KRAFTON has played a pivotal role in strengthening our vision and giving us the resources to think bigger and build bolder. As we enter this next chapter, we are excited about what Real Cricket can become and the new possibilities we can unlock for players in India and beyond.”
