AS FIFA’s Official Technology Partner, Lenovo is deploying an AI-powered infrastructure platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026, covering IPTV video distribution, live broadcast, and tournament operations across three host countries.
Lenovo ThinkSystem SR635 V3 servers will be deployed at the International Broadcast Center in Dallas, managing live video from stadiums across North America and distributing match content via ten channels to over 1,000 screens across FIFA venues. IPTV delays have been reduced to under five seconds. More than 17,000 Lenovo and Motorola devices and 200+ engineers will be deployed across venues and team training sites.
Lenovo will also operate FIFA’s Technology Command Center in Miami and the Tournament Operation Center, serving as the central hub for monitoring and managing all tournament technology in near real-time.
On the fan experience side, Lenovo is deploying AI-enabled 3D player avatars for offside visualisation, AI-driven venue navigation systems, stabilised first-person referee views, and holographic experiences across venues.
All 48 competing teams will have access to the FIFA AI Pro platform, an AI-powered analytics tool built on Lenovo’s AI Factory, providing tactical insights to coaches, players, and analysts.
Lenovo is also releasing a range of FIFA Special Edition devices, including the Motorola Razr FIFA World Cup 26th Edition, ThinkPad X9-14, ThinkPad X1 Carbon, Yoga Slim 7i, and Lenovo Legion Pro 7i.
