Actus Digital, a global provider of compliance logging, quality assurance, and AI-driven media insight, has signed a definitive agreement for its business and technology to be acquired by LiveU, which offers live IP-video contribution, production and distribution solutions.
This strategic acquisition “will strengthen Actus Digital’s innovation roadmap and expand the long-term value delivered to customers worldwide,” the company says.
With over 5,000 customers in 150 countries, LiveU has expertise, knowhow and reach in the industry. The acquisition will make it simpler for Actus Digital to access LiveU’s ecosystem, with its suite of IP-video solutions spanning contribution, production and distribution, for clients’ content creation needs.
Following the closing of the acquisition, Actus Digital will operate as a separate business unit within LiveU, complete with dedicated account management and support. “We are delighted to be welcoming Actus Digital to LiveU,” said Samuel Wasserman, LiveU CEO/co-founder. “Their exceptional platform and AI expertise perfectly complement our vision of delivering an end-to-end IP-video workflow. Together, we will provide a one-stop solution that brings even more value to our global customer base.”
