MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with cloud and AI infrastructure company Vercel. The collaboration launches at the 2026 British Grand Prix, with Vercel branding appearing on the team’s race cars, before expanding across the organisation from the 2027 season.
As part of the agreement, Mercedes will migrate its digital platforms to Vercel’s infrastructure for faster web performance and AI-powered digital experiences. The deal includes branding rights, hospitality, customer engagement, and content creation alongside the technology collaboration.
Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Sander, said, “Formula One is where every millisecond matters, every decision counts, and continuous innovation is fundamental to success, and Vercel shares that same philosophy. The Vercel platform is helping organisations around the world build faster, perform better and innovate with confidence. We are excited to welcome Vercel to the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and look forward to building a partnership that delivers value both on and off the track.”
Vercel Founder and CEO, Guillermo Rauch, added, “Speed wins. It’s true on the track, and it’s true on the web. Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS is one of the fastest teams in world sport, and we’re proud to support a team that shares our obsession for engineering excellence and relentless optimisation.”
The announcement comes as Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS leads both the FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Championship and the Drivers’ Championship in 2026.
