METASHOT, a Bengaluru-based sports-tech startup, has partnered with NSE-listed game development firm, Yudiz Solutions, to launch what the companies claim is the world’s first smart pickleball game, built exclusively for MetaShot’s motion gaming console. It is the first time MetaShot has opened its platform and SDKs to an external studio, with the title set to launch in the US in Q3 FY26, followed by India.
The announcement comes after 115% year-on-year revenue growth in FY26 and MetaShot’s cricket title crossing 5 million completed matches. The company is positioning itself as a platform ecosystem for third-party developers, with additional sports titles and a developer funding programme in the pipeline, a media rlease said.
The launch targets one of the fastest-growing sports globally, with over 50 million players worldwide, and the market is projected to grow from $2.2 billion in 2024 to $9.1 billion by 2034. In India, the number of active players has surged by nearly 300% over three years. MetaShot plans to bring additional sports titles onto its platform through further third-party studio partnerships, the release added.
