OTTOBOCK has been appointed the official technical service provider for the 12th World Para Athletics Championships, taking place in New Delhi from 27 September to 5 October — the first time this prestigious competition will be staged in India. The championship will welcome over 1,000 athletes from more than 20 nations, competing in 186 medal events.
With over 26 years of experience supporting the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) since 1988, Ottobock will deliver on-site technical services to ensure athletes’ prosthetics, orthotics, and wheelchairs are kept in peak condition throughout the tournament.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished guests, Dr Mansukh L. Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports (Chief Guest); Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (Special Guest); Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Delhi (Guest of Honour); Ashish Sood, Hon’ble Education Minister, Government of Delhi (Distinguished Guest); and Kangana Ranaut, MP and Brand Ambassador of the IndianOil New Delhi 2025 WPA Championships (Guest of Eminence).
