HMD has announced the continuation and expansion of its partnership with the Rajasthan Royals, stepping up from official smartphone partner to associate sponsor. The development marks the third consecutive year of collaboration between the two entities.
As part of the upgraded partnership, HMD’s branding will feature on the back of the team’s helmets during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season. The continued association highlights HMD’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
In a separate partnership, Oaksmith Packaged Drinking Water, from Suntory Global Spirits, has joined Rajasthan Royals as an official partner for IPL 2026. Under the agreement, the brand will appear on the top right chest of the team’s jersey, providing on-field visibility during matches.
The collaboration will also extend beyond match-day branding to include digital and social media initiatives such as player-led integrations and fan engagement activations throughout the season.
Additionally, the partnership will connect with Oaksmith Style Studio, a platform centred on cricket-driven cultural storytelling, featuring narratives around players and fan engagement initiatives during the tournament.
