GLOBAL ESPORTS GAMES Mumbai 2026 concluded with Team India delivering a strong performance, securing a gold medal in Clash Royale and a bronze medal in Dota 2 in front of a packed home crowd.
India’s Anuhith Gosala emerged as the standout performer, defeating Kazakhstan’s Miras in a thrilling Clash Royale grand final with a 3–2 scoreline. The victory followed a challenging campaign, including a narrow 2–1 win against the United States in the lower bracket finals to secure a place in the championship round.
Kazakhstan had earlier defeated India 2–0 in the upper bracket finals, but Gosala staged a strong comeback in the grand finale, edging past his opponent in a closely contested match to claim the gold medal.
In Dota 2, Team India secured the bronze medal after losing to Mongolia in the lower bracket finals. Türkiye went on to win the gold medal, defeating Mongolia 3–1 in the grand final.
Organised by Eflag Corp and the Global Esports Federation, with support from Maharashtra Tourism, the tournament brought together 48 athletes from 19 countries over four days. Following the conclusion of the Mumbai edition, the Global Esports Games will move to Los Angeles for its next chapter later in 2026.
