DUBAI: The likes of India’s Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi of Pakistan, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara and England’s Eoin Morgan are among big names set to feature in a T10 league that will take place the United Arab Emirates over four days from December 21-24.
The ten-over-a-side matches, featuring four teams, will run for about 90 minutes (45 minute each side) in Sharjah, the details of which were announced on Tuesday.
“Everyone has played T10 cricket on the streets and this will give more fire to cricket and will be a big step forward and people will definitely enjoy it,” said the new league’s president Salman Iqbal.
The four teams will be selected through a draft later this month.
