Shikhar Dhawan Foundation expands Digital Shiksha

SHIKHAR DHAWAN FOUNDATION has announced the expansion of its education initiative, Digital Shiksha, to the NeeV Learning Centre in Gurugram, with CSR support from TBO Tek Limited.

According to a media release, the latest installation takes the program’s reach to more than 15,000 children across India, significantly enhancing access to digital learning in underserved communities.

Led by former India international cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, the foundation, the philanthropic arm of Da One Group, continues to strengthen its focus on bridging educational gaps by introducing modern learning tools where they are needed most.

Digital Shiksha upgrades classrooms with Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) and a licensed K–12 digital curriculum, moving away from textbook-heavy instruction towards a visual and interactive learning model. The approach helps students understand concepts more quickly while enabling teachers to deliver structured, digital-first lessons. At NeeV, the installation offers immersive content across subjects such as science, mathematics and languages, creating a more engaging classroom environment.

The foundation’s digital education efforts began in 2022 with the Smart Libraries Initiative, which introduced basic digital resources for everyday learning. This initiative laid the groundwork for Digital Shiksha, which is now active in more than 25 underserved schools, each with average enrolments exceeding 500 students. The program also includes teacher training, student orientation, regular monitoring visits and backend analytics to track usage and adoption, ensuring sustained and measurable impact.

Da One Group CEO Anshita Sharma Gupta said, “We have always believed that education should be inclusive, future-ready and accessible to every child. Digital Shiksha reflects that belief by bringing immersive learning into classrooms that need it most. We are focused on building a wider network of schools where technology becomes an enabler of progress.”

TBO Tek Limited vice president – people success (India business) Preeti Sandhal commented, “At TBO, we strongly believe that access to quality education is one of the most powerful equalizers. Our partnership with the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation for the Digital Shiksha initiative reflects our commitment to enabling inclusive and technology-driven learning for every child. We are proud to support the installation at NeeV Learning Centre, which will create a more engaging and future-ready classroom experience for students. As a technology-led organization, we understand the transformative impact that digital tools can have on learning outcomes, confidence and aspirations.”
