CONSUMER DURABLES BRAND Usha International has announced the continuation of its partnership with the Mumbai Indians women’s team for the upcoming season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL).
The new season introduces refreshed elements to Mumbai Indians’ iconic blue and gold kit. The updated detailing, inspired by movement and continuity, is designed to capture the relentless spirit of the city and the team’s ambition to make a lasting impact on the competition, per the media release.
The WPL season is set to get underway on 9 January, with Mumbai Indians taking on Bengaluru in the opening match at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. The MI Women’s side will play five fixtures at the DY Patil Stadium through 17 January, before the league moves to Baroda. The remaining league-stage matches will be held at the BCA Stadium, which will also host the playoffs. Mumbai Indians will conclude their league campaign against Gujarat on 30 January.
