BOLLYWOOD ICON Shah Rukh Khan has officially entered the billionaire club, with his net worth estimated at $1.4 billion, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2025.
The milestone places the 59-year-old actor among global stars like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Widely known as the King of Bollywood, Khan’s wealth extends well beyond cinema. His key assets include Red Chillies Entertainment, his production company, and Knight Riders Sports, which owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL and other T20 franchises globally. His portfolio is further strengthened by brand endorsements, international real estate, and decades of blockbuster success.
Hurun India founder Anas Rahman Junaid said, “Khan’s rise to billionaire status reflects the new wealth dynamics emerging in India, where entertainment and IP-driven enterprises are becoming powerful engines of value.”
Khan leads a select group of Bollywood figures on the Hurun list. His long-time collaborator Juhi Chawla and her family — co-owners of Knight Riders Sports — follow with a net worth of $880 million, while Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, and Amitabh Bachchan also feature, with estimated fortunes between $183 million and $260 million.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani have regained the title of India’s richest individual, after Gautam Adani had overtaken him in the 2024 report.
