NEW DELHI: Twenty First Century Media Pvt. Ltd. (TCM) has entered into a multiple year contract with Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) for the upcoming Andhra T20 League. As per the agreement, TCM will be responsible for all commercial rights related to the event, end to end operations and management of League.
TCM has been associated with some of the biggest tournaments across all sports including the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Indian Super League (ISL), the Pro Kabaddi League and the Premier Badminton League; and clubs including Delhi Daredevils, Delhi Dynamos FC, Dabang Delhi amongst others.
Expressing his satisfaction after entering into a contract with TCM, ACA president GVK Ranga Raju said: “We look forward to a healthy relationship which we are confident will usher in a new era for cricket in Andhra Pradesh.”
ACA secretary Arunkumar opined that the contract would open new platforms for the youth in the state. “Sports marketing demands high fan engagement and I feel this contract will draw more youth into the game. ACA stays committed towards the development of cricket in the state and we hope this will bring back the glory days of Andhra Cricket,” he said.
Meanwhile, Carlton Saldanha of TCM said: ““TCM has been a pioneer in sports management, media and marketing in India. Over the years, TCM has been associated with some of the biggest events in Indian sporting history and we look forward to our new association with the Andhra Cricket Association. We believe the popularity of the game in the state is at an all time high and that makes it a very commercially viable product for all stakeholders.”
