Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) has named Dhiraj Parasher as its new CEO, marking a key leadership move as the league prepares for its next phase of global expansion. The announcement comes ahead of Season 3, set to begin on November 29, 2025, which promises to be UKK’s most ambitious edition yet — featuring international players for the first time.
As Ultimate Kho Kho transitions from a national sensation to an emerging global sports property, the appointment of Dhiraj Parasher marks a pivotal moment in its journey. With the league set to scale operations, reach new audiences across borders, and strengthen both its digital and grassroots presence, Parasher’s leadership is expected to play a crucial role in shaping UKK’s international identity and long-term growth.
Parasher brings over two decades of experience across sports, entertainment, consulting, and brand development. He has held senior roles at the Adani Group and Ernst & Young, contributing to major projects like the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Known for building sustainable sports ecosystems, he has worked closely with federations, state governments, and franchise models, especially driving grassroots development during his time with the Government of Jharkhand.
On the appointment, UKK Promoter Amit Burman commented, “Dhiraj’s leadership aligns perfectly with our vision to take UKK to the next level. His strategic mindset and deep-rooted knowledge of grassroots sport will help us scale UKK’s reach, especially among digitally savvy fans, while staying true to the cultural core of Kho Kho.”
In his new role, Parasher will drive UKK’s vision of building a globally scalable league, blending the sport’s heritage with modern innovations in broadcasting, fan engagement, and global partnerships.
UKK CEO Dhiraj Parasher added, “As India prepares to include indigenous games in global platforms like the Commonwealth and Olympic Games, my focus is on building UKK into a league of global relevance — one powered by international participation, cutting-edge broadcasting, and next-gen community engagement. Season 3 is a strategic launchpad — a step towards making Kho Kho a scalable and exportable sport for the world.”
