DIGITAL PAYMENTS COMPANY, Visa, has announced a FIFA World Cup 2026 association with private sector bank, HDFC Bank, to launch a limited‑edition FIFA World Cup 2026 Visa Pixel Credit Card, alongside a nationwide Spend & Win campaign to bring Indian consumers closer to the world’s most anticipated global sporting spectacle.
The only limited edition FIFA World Cup 2026 Visa Pixel Credit Card, HDFC Bank’s digital‑first, app‑based credit card, is designed for new‑age digital consumers offering instant issuance, flexible customisations, and seamless digital payments. The FIFA-themed card fascia will be available to existing HDFC Bank Pixel Play customers in addition to new Pixel Play applicants from April 11th onwards. The announcement was made at a launch event in Mumbai, marked by the presence of internationally renowned football icon Michael Owen, a media release said.
The partnership promotes the Spend & Win campaign across HDFC Bank’s card portfolio including credit cards, debit cards, business cards, and forex prepaid cards where eligible spends unlock a range of aspirational rewards, including, FIFA World Cup 2026 match packages, FIFA‑themed staycations, official FIFA merchandise, shopping and lifestyle vouchers. The campaign allows fans to engage with the tournament far beyond match days, integrating football passion into everyday spending and digital payments, the release said.
