THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL (ICC) has announced ticketing details and headline entertainment for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which will be staged across four Indian cities and Colombo, Sri Lanka.
This edition sets a new benchmark for accessibility, offering the lowest ticket prices ever for an ICC global event. All league matches in India will be available from just Rs 100 (around USD 1.14) in the first phase, part of a fan-first approach designed to ensure packed stands and vibrant atmospheres as women’s cricket continues to rise in profile worldwide.
Ticket sales opened at 19:00 IST on Thursday, 4 September, with a four-day exclusive pre-sale for Google Pay users via Tickets.cricketworldcup.com, running until 19:00 IST on Monday, 8 September. The second-phase public sale will begin at 20:00 IST on Tuesday, 9 September.
Adding star power, Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform at the Grand Opening Ceremony in Guwahati ahead of the curtain-raiser between India and Sri Lanka. Ghoshal, who has also recorded the official anthem ‘Bring it Home’, will deliver a live performance.
The 2025 edition marks the tournament’s return to India after 12 years, with the action kicking off on 30 September.
