The Board of Control for Cricket in India is reportedly planning to conduct the second season of the Women’s Premier League in Bangalore and Delhi.
Per Cricbuzz, the first half of WPL 2024 will be played at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, while the second half, including the playoffs, will be held at New Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.
WPL 2024 is expected to run from February 22 through to March 17
The first season, which was won by Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians, was held in March 2023 in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
The BCCI had initially voiced plans of conducting the second season at multiple venues but that did not materialise.
