FIFA has confirmed an overwhelming response to the presale draw for the 2026 World Cup, with more than 1.5 million ticket requests submitted by fans from 210 countries within the first 24 hours.
The strongest demand has come from the host nations — the United States, Mexico and Canada — with Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, England, Spain, Portugal and Germany also featuring prominently among the top applicants, according to Reuters.
The application window remains open until 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) on 19 September. Entry timing does not influence the chances of securing tickets, and successful applicants will be informed by email from 29 September. Purchases will then be made available in allocated time slots from 1 October.
Ticket prices will begin at $60, but dynamic pricing will apply in the opening sales phase, meaning costs may vary depending on demand. Further rounds of ticket sales are scheduled to open in October.
