MUMBAI: India’s leading sportcaster Star Sports has appointed Ranjana Mangla as vice-president for Emerging Sports.
In her new portfolio, Mangla will be managing advertising sales for all sports under the network’s ambit outside of cricket, football and kabaddi.
The veteran media sales, marketing and PR professional moves in from India Today where she was the national revenue head. Mangla had joined the news media major in July this year.
Mangla has previously worked with Discovery India, Viacom18, Colors SD, Colors HD and Rishtey, NDTV, Time Warner, NDTV Imagine, Star India, Dainik Bhaskar and Visionaire Technology Group.
