WORLD PICKLEBALL LEAGUE (WPBL) has significantly expanded its WPBL On Tour initiative, announcing a schedule of over 50 pickleball events set to take place across India in the coming four months. The expanded initiative sees the WPBL collaborating with four key partners – KheloMore, Panda Plays Pickle × Swiggy Scenes, FerroHub Sports, and Sisters-In-Sweat – to deliver a variety of camps, tournaments, and social gatherings nationwide.
The events are designed to nurture talent, focusing on beginners and emerging players. These gatherings combine starter camps and tournaments, successfully blending community spirit with sporting culture.
KheloMore leads the charge with 14 events. Panda Plays Pickle × Swiggy Scenes curating 10 high-energy events. FerroHub Sports adds its own flavour with three community-driven gatherings in Bengaluru. And Sisters-In-Sweat stepping in with 24 women-first events.
Beyond the six franchise-led city tournaments, the refreshed ‘WPBL On Tour’ calendar now features a diverse range of activities, including grassroots starter camps, lifestyle-focused shuffle showdowns, community meet-ups, and women-only programmes. This comprehensive schedule underscores the WPBL’s commitment to year-round engagement, franchise integration, and ecosystem development. With Season 2 of the WPBL scheduled for January 2026, the WPBL On Tour initiative is essential for laying the groundwork for sustained growth.
WPBL founder and CEO Gaurav Natekar said, “From the very beginning, our vision with WPBL On Tour has been to ensure that our franchises and communities truly benefit. Through 57 events with our partners leading up to Season 2, we are creating meaningful engagement for communities and delivering long-term value to our franchises. By building opportunities around these events, we are not only strengthening the League but also helping grow the sport, inspiring more people to step onto the court, and encouraging healthier, fitter lifestyles.”
