JIOSTAR, the official media rights holder for the Indian Premier League (IPL) from 2023 to 2027, has already signed several sponsors for the upcoming 2026 season across both digital streaming and television broadcast.
On the digital platform JioHotstar, Birla Opus has joined as the co-powered-by sponsor, while Rapido, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), Amazon, Vimal and MRF have been signed as associate sponsors.
For the television broadcast on Star Sports, Rapido, AMFI and Vimal will also appear as associate sponsors. They are joined by Asian Paints and Hero MotoCorp, completing the list of associate sponsors for the TV coverage so far.
JioStar is still in the process of finalising a co-powered-by sponsor for the television broadcast of the tournament.
The IPL 2026 is scheduled to begin on 28 March, with the opening match set to take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The final of the tournament will be played on 31 May.
The upcoming season is also expected to intensify competition between major paint brands. While Asian Paints has secured an associate sponsorship on television, Birla Opus has taken the co-powered-by slot for digital streaming.
According to the ‘IPL 2025: A Year of Firsts’ report released by JioStar in partnership with Media Partners Asia (MPA), more than 425 brands, including 270 first-time advertisers across 40 categories, collaborated with the broadcaster during the 2025 season.
Among the major sponsors associated with IPL 2025 were My11Circle, Campa Energy, Birla Opus, PokerBaazi, State Bank of India, PhonePe, Mutual Funds Sahi Hai, Thums Up, Google Search, Allen Solly, Jaquar Bath + Light, Google Pay, Kent Kuhl, Dream11, Joy Cosmetics, TVS Motor Company, Asian Paints, Zupee and Amul.
