Bundesliga and IMG extend media archive agreement

BUNDESLIGA MEDIA has extended its multi-year partnership with IMG to license international archive rights for the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2, and the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup in markets outside the DACH region. IMG has handled the Bundesliga’s archive content distribution since 2012.

The DFL Media Hub contains close to 250,000 hours of content covering over 60 years of German football history, dating back to the 1963/64 season.

IMG holds over 500,000 hours of sports footage through representation deals with the Premier League, World Rugby, Wimbledon, the R&A (including The Open), DP World Tour, UFC, WWE, NWSL, and Formula E, among others.
