MUMBAI: The third Test of the Mastercard Australia tour of India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, originally scheduled to take place at the HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala from 1st to 5th March, has now been moved to Holkar Stadium, Indore.
The BCCI stated the move had been necessitated due to the “state of the outfield” at the HPCA Stadium.
“Owing to harsh winter conditions in the region, the outfield lacks sufficient grass density and will need some time to develop fully,” the BCCI declared.
The revamped schedule for the remaining three Tests in Australia’s tour of India is as under:
2nd Test – Delhi (17th – 21st February)
3rd Test – Indore (1st – 5th March)
4th Test – Ahmedabad (9th – 13th March)
