ADIDAS ORIGINALS AND COCA-COLA have launched a collaborative collection for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, reuniting 24 years after their first joint collection for the 2002 tournament.
The range covers apparel, footwear, and accessories, drawing on 2000s street style and archival designs. The footwear selection features Coca-Cola-inspired versions of four adidas silhouettes — the Adistar Control 5, Predator Sala, Climacool 1, and Megaride F50 — each reimagined to resemble a Coca-Cola can, with the Megaride F50 referencing the iconic glass bottle. The apparel includes track tops, jerseys, shorts, t-shirts, and a red airliner bag, split between logo-heavy graphics and vintage-inspired designs.
The campaign, titled “Originals are the Real Thing”, features Lamine Yamal among a cast of characters waiting for a bus to the World Cup. The collection launches on June 6 via the adidas CONFIRMED app, adidas.com, and select retailers.
