THE FICCI Sports Committee, in collaboration with Business France, will lead an India Sports Leaders Delegation to Paris on June 30, 2026 for RIGES 2026 (Rencontres Internationales du Grand Événement Sportif). The delegation aims to strengthen India-France collaboration across sports technology, infrastructure, education, and investment, as India looks to host major global sporting events.
FICCI Sports Committee Chairperson PKSV Sagar said, “The India Sports Leaders Delegation to RIGES 2026 represents a strategic milestone in our bilateral relations. As India pursues its ‘Olympic Vision 2036,’ learning from the French expertise in managing mega-events and development of sustainable infrastructure is invaluable. We are here to not only showcase India’s rapidly evolving market but to build a long-term roadmap for innovation and investment.”
FICCI Sports Committee Co-chair Sanjay Adesara added, “Our goal is to create a seamless exchange of knowledge and technology. RIGES is an international summit focused on the business of major sporting events, connecting organising committees and professional leagues with technology companies to explore international development opportunities.
