NEW DELHI: Rooter, India’s first-of-its-kind live sports social engagement platform has signed up former India opener and popular Hindi commentator, Aakash Chopra for the upcoming Asia Cup 2018 in the UAE to be the face of the app.
As part of the agreement, Chopra will be creating specially curated content for the platform on his YouTube channel ‘CricketAakash’, promote the app on all his social media channels and even play Rooter’s popular ‘Live Fantasy Game’ with fans on the app.
Rooter will also run a special contest called ‘Play With Aakash Chopra’ where fans can test their knack for all things cricket and stand a chance to win cash prizes. Its users will get a great opportunity to interact and engage with Chopra in a unique initiative for the digital world of sports in India. His popular Twitter hashtag #AakashVani will be run by Rooter and promoted as ‘#RooterAakashVani’ during the competition, all from 15 September onwards.
