MUMBAI: Hyperice, a global high-performance wellness brand specializing in percussion, dynamic air compression, vibration, thermal technology, mind technology, and contrast therapy, Wednesday announced the launch of its most powerful device yet – the Hypervolt 2 Pro, in India.
With the Hypervolt 2 Pro, users now have access to the same powerful percussion massage therapy as the world’s best athletes right in the palm of their hand. The newest generation of its wildly popular Hypervolt line, the Hypervolt 2 Pro is equipped with five variable speeds to provide relief to stiff muscles and a new digital dial, so users can train and recover like a pro.
Earlier this year, Hyperice introduced three new products in the Indian market – the Hypervolt 2, Vyper 3, and Vyper Go. These announcements come on the heels of Hyperice’s recent foray into the country with Virat Kohli as its first Indian ambassador and athlete-investor (euphism for sweat equity?).
Virat joins a list of elite global athlete-investors, including global football superstar Erling Haaland, 4-time tennis Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, NBA Star Ja Morant, and PGA TOUR champion Rickie Fowler.
Hyperice also announced new investments from superstars across the sports world including professional golfer Rory McIlroy, Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo, NHL player Connor McDavid, NBA player Klay Thompson and NBA player Jayson Tatum.
Said Rodney Block, head of APAC of Hyperice: “India is one of our top three growth markets, and we have built our presence through retail expansion, fitness expansion, and associations with athlete investors such as Virat Kohli. We are truly excited for the launch of the Hypervolt 2 Pro in the country and look forward to helping customers worldwide recover faster and move better.”
The Hypervolt 2 Pro is Hyperice’s strongest percussion massage device. It offers deep-penetrating relief to stiff muscles, allowing users to train harder and recover faster. The Hypervolt 2 Pro offers all the benefits of the beloved Hypervolt including accelerated warmup and recovery, increased range of motion, circulation and blood flow, and relief from muscle pain, stiffness, and soreness.
The Bluetooth enabled device comes with a highly ergonomic handle and five variable speeds controlled by a new digital dial. At 2.6 lbs, the device is lightweight, comes with a 3-hour long battery life, is TSA approved for carry-on, and is equipped with Hyperice’s patented QuietGlide® technology, making the device whisper quiet.
The device is also equipped with Hyperice’s patented Pressure Sensor Technology, which showcases how much pressure is being applied. It offers guided routines from top athletes and automatic speed adjustment with the Bluetooth® connected Hyperice App, powered by HyperSmart™ technology. The Hypervolt 2 Pro comes with 5 head attachments (fork, ball, cushion, flat, bullet) and a head attachment pouch to keep all the attachments together and organized.
