Mumbai, December 5, 2011 – Winning the Mumbai leg amidst tough competition, four teams made their way to the National Final of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge. The Mumbai leg of the annual event concluded, at the Oxford Golf & Country Club yesterday. The next rounds are at New Delhi, Kolkata, Kodaikanal and Bangalore followed by the National Final at Thailand.
After a tough game among the teams on day one (December 3), the team comprising of Mr. Ajay Chauhan and Mr. Devesh Wadhawan, representing Parle Products, emerged as the winners and the team comprising of Mr. Sanjeev Kaura and Mr. Rudolf Sequeira, representing Ferrero Rocher, emerged as the runners up. The second day (December 4) was equally thrilling where teams comprising of Mr Rudratej Singh and Mr. Subhash Naidu, representing Hindustan Unilever Ltd., emerged as the winners. The runners up in the second day were Mr. Ravi Budhwar and Mr. Rajiv Pusalkar, representing HRG Sita India.

The other finalists for the National Final in April 2012 at Thailand will emerge from the regional rounds which are soon to follow at New Delhi, Kolkata, Kodaikanal and Bangalore. The finalists from India along with finalists from other countries will then participate in the World Corporate Golf Challenge to be held in Cape Town, South Africa in May 2012.
