JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) and Sri Lanka Cricket have jointly confirmed the two-match, Betway Test Series scheduled to be played in Centurion and Johannesburg from 26 December will continue as planned.

"The series, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship, is very much still on course and the boards look forward to a successful and competitive clash between two teams that are equally thrilled to return to red-ball action," the two boards jointly stated.

SLC and BCB postpone Tour of Sri Lanka 2020

SRI LANKA CRICKET (SLC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have decided to postpone the Bangladesh Cricket Team’s Tour of Sri Lanka in October-November 2020 to a later date. Bangladesh were due to travel to Sri Lanka this month to start preparing for a three-match series which is a part of the ICC World Test Championship.

SLC to conduct inaugural T-10 tournament in Dec

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket has reportedly approved a plan to conduct the inaugural edition of a T-10 cricket tournament in December this year. The decision was taken at a meeting of the SLC executive committee at its headquarters here, where the proposal to conduct a T-10 tournament was "unanimously approved", the local Daily News reports.

Inaugural Lanka Premier League to run from Nov 14 to Dec 6

COLOMBO: After multiple postponements, the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League, a franchise-based Twenty20 league organized by Sri Lanka Cricket, will be officially launched in November. The tournament is scheduled to run from 14th November through to 6th December. SLC has signed up with Dubai-based Innovative Production Group (IPG) to manage and conduct the tournament.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Monday confirmed a report published earlier by SportzPower that SPN has retained the the exclusive global media rights (originally held by Ten Sports) for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), with the exception of terrestrial, digital and radio rights for the territory of Sri Lanka, which has been retained by SLC, for a period of 3 years, effective 1st July.
