Ticket prices triple up for Ronaldo’s first Serie A game

MILAN: Serie A champions Juventus will open their 2018-19 campaign with an away fixture at Stadio Ennio Tardini against Parma on August 18. However, the hosts are set to make massive gains as Juventus’ signing of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has fans of both the teams excited to watch him in action live, Goal.com reports.

Parma’s organizers have increased ticket prices nearly 3 times than regular. Tickets are generally available at the ground at the rates of 60 euros ($70.33), 70 euros ($82), 100 euros ($117.21) and 150 euros ($175.79). The very same ones will now cost 199 euros ($233.22), 233 euros ($273), 386 euros ($452.38) and 450 euros ($528) respectively. A person with a season pass or ticket can get away with the surge in prices by paying a flat 190 euros ($223) per seat.

Ronaldo attended his first practice session with Juventus on Monday. He is set to feature in the side in a match against the all-stars of Major League Soccer in the USA tomorrow before ironically taking on his former team, Real Madrid in an International Champions Cup game on Saturday.
