GURUGRAM: The 5th edition of the Daikin Delhi Capitals Corporate Cup T20 started here at the Wisteria Sports Complex on Saturday with all 16 teams in action during the first weekend of the competition.
The JSW-GMR co-owned franchise had announced the launch of the new season last month. The competition has 16 teams in action, divided into four groups of four teams each. These four teams will face each other once during the league stage. The winners from each pool will then play Semi-Finals scheduled to be played on 9th November, and then the Final which is to be held on 10th November.
The winners of the tournament along with the top performers will get an opportunity to attend a gala dinner with the Delhi Capitals squad during the IPL, apart from getting special privileges on tickets and official merchandise.
The 16 participating corporate teams in the Daikin Delhi Capitals Corporate Cup T20 are - AMEX GBT, GMR, Metlife, Khabri Audio, Pavna Group, The Muthhoot Group, Buddy Retail, Sapient, AMEX Corp, Royal Stag, JSW, Accenture, EY, Daikin, Policy Bazaar and KTC.
