DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday publicly announced a recruitment drive of as many as 4,000 volunteers for the Cricket World Cup 2019 in England & Wales.
The event will create an all-time record since previously no other ICC tournament has had so many volunteers. Applications can be made online on the official ICC website from Thursday, May 3 and ending on June 15.
The programme features a dedicated interview process followed by comprehensive training for successful candidates. The volunteers will be known as the ‘World Cup Cricketeers’.
