MSD's entertainment company to produce southern language movies

Indian cricketing icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni's film production company Dhoni Entertainment, founded in 2019 and led by his wife Sakshi, is taking a new trajectory. The company will reportedly be producing films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. 

Interestingly, Dhoni's first creative association with the entertainment film space was with ‘Dhoni – The Untold Story’, a 2016 Hindi film headlined by the late Sushant Singh Rajput and based on his life, which was a commercial and critical success.

Dhoni's prodn company to produce animated series 'Captain 7'
MUMBAI: Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni's production company Dhoni Entertainment (DE) has entered into a joint venture with Indian brand licencing company Black White Orange Brands Pvt Ltd (BWO) for the production of an animated secret agent show, titled "Captain 7".  The seven in the title refers to Dhoni's jersey number.

MS Dhoni's production company planning 2nd web series
MUMBAI: Cricketer MS Dhoni, whose production company Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd launched its first documentary web series ‘Roar of The Lion’ last year, is set to launch its second show after having acquired the rights of an unpublished book. Dhoni's wife Sakshi, who serves as the managing director of the production house, confirmed to Mid-Day that the show would soon launch on an OTT platform.

Dhoni teams with SPN for docu series on decorated army officers
MUMBAI: Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is teaming up with StudioNext, the content creation wing of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), to produce an anthology series chronicling stories of decorated army officers. The series, produced by Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd in collaboration with StudioNext, is slated for a 2020 release.
