MUMBAI: Even as there is much speculation aroiund the fate of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League due to the coronavirus pandemic, commentator and former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar voiced the need for the IPL to happen whatever shape or form "because it will kick start the economy".

MUMBAI: Former India batsman and now a regular television commentator Sanjay Manjrekar has been reportedly dropped from the commentary panel of the BCCI.
While there was no clarity on the reason behind leaving Manjrekar out, Mumbai Mirror reports that the men who matter in the world's richest and most autocratic cricketing body "were not happy with his work".
