SENTOSA, Singapore: The Asian Tour has inked a International Media Partner agreement with The Wall Street Journal.

As the latest international media partner of the Asian Tour, WSJ  will receive branding, customer engagement and hospitality opportunities at selected Asian Tour events.

The partnership with the US publication will also allow the Asian Tour to broaden its exposure internationally through its promotion across WSJ’s digital assets.

The agency arrested Thapar late Tuesday after day-long questioning in connection with the alleged property transaction between Avantha Realty and YES Bank's co-founder Rana Kapoor and his wife, ANI quotes officials as having said.

MUMBAI: A year's wait is finally coming to an end as Japan gets ready to host the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  The upcoming Olympics are scheduled to be held in the Japanese capital from July 23 to August 8. A total of around 11,000 athletes from 206 countries are expected to participate in 33 sports in Tokyo Olympics 2021.

MUMBAI: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters and Indian golf's "corporate patron", has taken the lead sponsor position for the live broadcast of the 149th Open Championship on Eurosport in India.  The Open, one of golf's four majors, is scheduled to be played from Thursday, July 15, through to Sunday, July 18.

NEW DELHI: The European Tour Friday announced the cancellation of the $1.75 million Hero Indian Open, scheduled to be held in thye capital in October, citing the uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 situation in the country. This is the second year running that Indian golf's biggest event will not be held in the country as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic.

NEW DELHI: Anirban Lahiri has earned a berth to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as he was placed 60th in the Final Olympic Golf Rankings list which was published today. Lahiri, a former Asia No. 1 and two-time winner on the European Tour, will thus be playing his second successive Olympic Games. Anirban, a PGA Tour regular, had previously turned out for India along with SSP Chawrasia at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
