The Pakistan Cricket Board has earmarked Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi as the three host venues for 2025 Champions Trophy, in the initial draft schedule of the tournament, sent recently to the ICC. 

The Champions Trophy, which was last held in England in 2017, is expected to be held tentatively in February-March next year, even as the PCB hastens plans to upgrade venues that will host the first ICC event in the country in nearly 30 years.

MUMBAI: Close on the heels of the Board of Control for Cricket in India taking the "tone deaf" decision to grant permission to four of its affiliate associations - Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Mumbai and Saurashtra - to host their intra-state T20 leagues immediately after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League on May 30, said associations have reportedly seen the "writing on the wall".

DUBAI: Former Sri Lanka player and coach Nuwan Zoysa has been banned from all cricket for six years after an ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code (read match fixing). The ban is backdated to 31 October 2018, when Zoysa was provisionally suspended as an immediate action.
