FanCode adds DTM racing series to motorsports portfolio

MUMBAI: Digital sports platform will be exclusively broadcasting the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) for its 40th anniversary season in India. 

The sports car racing series, DTM, is based in Germany, and features top-tier sports car racing action across Europe. Encompassing the entire eight-event series, the partnership will allow Indian fans to catch all the action live on FanCode from 26th April to 20th October. 

India’s racing sensation Arjun Maini will be in action for the Mercedes-AMG team.

F1 to return to Turkey as 4 more races added to 2020 calendar
LONDON: Turkey's Intercity Istanbul Park will host a Grand Prix for the first time since 2011 this year, after Formula 1 announced four more races have been added to the 2020 calendar. The Turkish Grand Prix will be run on November 15, just before a back-to-back double header in Bahrain, with the Bahrain Grand Prix on November 29 followed by the Sakhir Grand Prix on December 6.

All 10 F1 teams agree terms on new Concorde Agreement
LONDON: Formula 1 has announced that all 10 teams have agreed to the new Concorde Agreement, which sets out the terms under which teams will compete in F1 until 2025. Ferrari, Williams and McLaren announced they had signed up on Tuesday afternoon, with F1 confirming the remaining seven teams had also agreed the new terms on Wednesday morning.

Discovery+ scores streaming rights to MotoGP World C'ship
MUMBAI: Discovery Plus, India’s first aggregated real-life entertainment streaming app, will showcase MotoGP World Championship LIVE starting with the Austrian Grand Prix scheduled from August 15-16.  The development follows on from Discovery-owned Eurosport SD and EurosportHD acquiring India territory broadcast rights to MotoGP last month.
