NEW DELHI: Khelo India Youth Games 2021 will be organised from 4th to 13th June.
Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur virtually interacted with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal at the Organizing and Coordinating Committee Meeting to review the preparedness of the games.
Thakur said that work should be done with new ideas in Khelo India Youth Games so that there is more discussion about Haryana across the country. The Haryana chief minister said that a mascot and logo of Khelo India Youth Games would be launched on 8th of May in Panchkula.
The Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry informed that the games will be held in Shahbad, Ambala, Chandigarh and Delhi apart from Panchkula. It said that under-18 age category, around 8,500 players will participate in the games from a total of 25 sports, including five indigenous games of India.
