Netflix scores 3-season NFL deal, broadens live sports push

After its monster $5 billion rights deal with WWE struck in January, streaming giant Netflix has made its first significant move into "non-scripted" live sports. 

The NFL on Wednesday took another step toward its goal of making its games as widely available as possible by striking a three-year deal with Netflix. 

Netflix will be the global home of the NFL's two Christmas Day marquee games. The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the reigning two-time Kansas City Chiefs, while the Houston Texans will host the Baltimore Ravens in the two holiday games.

IMG moots IPL style league for rugby

DSport to air Pakistan Super League 2018
MUMBAI: Discovery Communications branded sports channel DSport will broadcast the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018. According to an official statement, DSport will air the 34 matches of the third edition of the T20 competition in Pakistan scheduled to begin on 23 February 2018. MUMBAI: The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has signed on former competitive powerlifter Kavita Devi, making her the first Indian woman wrestler to play for the WWE.
