HERZOGENAURACH, Germany: PUMA and Formula 1 have signed an agreement which will make the sports company the official supplier at F1 races, granting the brand the right to produce F1 branded apparel, footwear and accessories. 

PUMA will also equip F1 staff at track and create F1 fanwear that targets the sport’s different audiences with lifestyle and motorsport collections. The contract includes exclusive rights to sell F1 fanwear and fanwear of all ten teams around the race circuit starting 2024.

LONDON: Over four million spectators (4,093,305) attended at least one of the 21 Grands Prix in the 2018 Formula 1 season, with an average attendance of almost 200,000 per weekend (194,919). 7 of those 21 races in the season attracted crowds of over 200,000: Great Britain (340,000), Mexico (334,946), Australia (295,000), USA (263,160), Singapore (263,000), Belgium (250,000) and Hungary (210,000).

LONDON: Formula 1 has recently announced an exciting worldwide, multi-year, multi-game licensing partnership with games studio Hutch, to create new games for iOS and Android mobile platforms. Hutch has created a string of chart-topping, car-focused games in the past, including Top Drives, MMX Hill Dash 2 and Hot Wheels: Race Off, titles which have been enjoyed by over 200 million people worldwide.

LONDON: Formula 1 has entered into a partnership with the world’s first virtual reality (VR) 360 degree brand ‘The Dream VR’. As per the agreement, more than three million fans across 180 countries in the world will get to view unique content of behind-the-scenes moments of the entire Grand Prix weekend through their VR headsets, mobile devices, TV sets and Apple TV.

LONDON: The pinnacle of motorsport, Formula 1 (F1) announced Sunday that Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli has been confirmed as its sole global tyre partner from 2020-2023, in what is an extension of their previous deal. The contract was up for renewal at the end of the 2019 season.

MELBOURNE: Rolex, the premium Swiss watchmaker, has yet again bagged the title sponsorship rights for the first Formula 1 race of the calendar, the Australian Grand Prix in 2019. Their association will continue for the seventh year on the trot, beginning in 2013.  The event is set to place from 14-17 March in what is arguably Australia's sporting capital, Melbourne.
