MUMBAI: “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”, a biopic on cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, has won two awards at the recently concluded 11th Tehran International FICTS Festival 2018.
James Erskine, who helmed the film, won the trophy for the Best Director of a Long Documentary and an honorary diploma.
Producer Ravi Bhagchandka received the Special Award for the Best Film in the Long Documentary section.

NEW DELHI: The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League will be held from April 7 to May 27, with the tournament opener and final to be played in Mumbai, the IPL governing council announced Monday.
Accepting new broadcast partner Star India's request, the IPL GC has also allowed a shift in timings of the matches. The 8 pm game will now begin at 7 pm while the 4 pm start has now been pushed to 5.30pm.

MUMBAI: Discovery branded sports channnel DSport has acquired the broadcast rights of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, to be organised by Sri Lanka Cricket and also featuring India and Bangladesh.
The 2018 Nidahas Trophy will be played from 15-30 March. The T20 tournament is being played to celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th year of independence.
